The formula

How the conversion works

Print size in inches equals pixel width divided by PPI (pixels per inch). For centimeters, multiply the inch result by 2.54; for millimeters, by 25.4. There's nothing hidden — the calculator applies the same math you can do by hand.

Example

4032 × 3024 px at 300 PPI

4032 ÷ 300 = 13.44 in wide · 3024 ÷ 300 = 10.08 in tall.

Example

4032 × 3024 px at 150 PPI

Halve the resolution, double the print: 26.88 × 20.16 in.

Example

1080 × 1920 px at 300 PPI

3.6 × 6.4 in — a phone screenshot, roughly 9:16.
